Christos Tzolis has made his intentions clear. The Greece international has informed Arsenal he wants the move, and club-to-club talks are now set to accelerate significantly. Club Brugge, for their part, remain willing to sell this summer, provided their valuation gets met properly. Reports suggest the fee could land anywhere between £30m and £35m, depending on how the final structure shapes up.

Leandro Trossard's departure to Besiktas cleared the runway for this pursuit. Arsenal identified Tzolis early as their preferred replacement on the left flank, and momentum has built steadily since. Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta clearly view him as the ideal profile, someone who blends creativity with genuine end product. Notably, Tzolis has reportedly turned away interest from elsewhere, choosing patience instead.

Interestingly, this pursuit doesn't complicate Arsenal's other business either. Their chase for Morgan Rogers continues unaffected, running on a completely separate track.

Tzolis enjoyed a remarkable campaign at Club Brugge last season. He contributed heavily going forward, showing sharp movement and clinical finishing throughout Belgium's top flight. Unlike his earlier stint in England with Norwich City, he now arrives with far greater confidence and a stronger track record behind him.

Contract terms won't slow things down much either, since Brugge already expect his exit. Sources indicate the Belgian champions view this fee as a potential record departure from their league.
